Enter how much work your class(es) are requiring -- pages to read, tests to take, etc -- and the form will give you a recommendation for how much time you should expect to spend outside class getting those things done.

Tip

First thing in the semester, once you have your syllabus and/or access to D2L, plug all the dates into your calendar app -- assignments, tests, holidays, everything. Do this for all your classes, and make sure you have reminders set for as far out as you need and your app will allow (e.g. maybe 2 days for a reflection paper but 2 weeks for a test).

There are pros and cons, since there's a lot of manual set-up: it can be time-consuming. Some people get very creative with their journals, which is a great outlet.. until you spend more time on that than actually getting things done.

Like any tool, this will work well for some people but not others.
