This guide will provide an introduction to the more obscure styles that occassionally get used on our campus. Currently covers: ASA, APSA, and IEEE.

  • Times New Roman
  • Size 10 font
  • 1" margins on all sides
  • Single-space
  • Use 2 vertical columns

References & In-Text Citations

Each citation on your final References page will be numbered and listed in the order that you used them in your paper.

In-text citations will refer only to the number of the full citation they refer to, e.g. This is a sample sentence [3].

Note: only name the chapter if it's a republished article in the overall book and/or by a different author than who put the book together. Likewise, skip edition, chapter, section, and/or page range when citing the overall book as a whole.
