Writing an Analysis

Guidelines and Requirements:

1. Focus on a single text.

Text can include writing, images, photographs, illustrations, videos, films, and even sculptures, buildings, and music. --   NFG page 104

2. Write in first person POV using formal, standard English.
3. Be descriptive. Remember to provide context (see the numbered items above).
4. Length Requirement: 750-1500 words
5. Use MLA heading and format for all essays. Document Sources using a Works Cited Page.
6. Review the required reading for this assignment in NFG pp 104-39.
