Kim is a retired public-school teacher. She worked as a training facilitator and instructional coach for teachers, as well as a reading interventionist helping students improve their reading comprehension. As a teacher she also tutored and prepared students for success on the STAAR Writing Test.
Kim considers herself a life-long learner who collects trivia facts and interesting vocabulary words. She is an animal lover who is owned by two cats. Kim is an avid reader, as well as a devotee of costume drama and documentary films. Her reading genre of choice is nonfiction, especially biographies, and anything relating to European and American history. Currently, she is obsessed with the Outlander book series by Diana Gabaldon and its companion TV show.
