ESSAY 1:  Topic (The Case of Charles Victor Thompson) DUE October 11 by 11:30 pm

ESSAY 2:  Topic (The Case of Darlie Routier) DUE October 25 by 11:30 pm

ESSAY 3: Topic (The New World Order) DUE November 29 by 11:30 pm

Essays during the semester are to be 2-3 pages long. It is acceptable to go over the page limit, but it must not be less. The submission must not have wasted space.  The heading on the top left-hand corner should be singles spaced, while the rest of the paper is required to be double-spaced.  Also, points will be deducted for gaps between paragraphs.  Be sure to click on the box that states “Do not add space between paragraphs” before you begin writing.  This box can be found just below the area where students select double space.
No first-person narrative is allowed in the paper.  Words such as I, me, you, us, our, we, we’re, you’re are not allowed. Please take the time to visit first person use online, or come ask me if you do not understand.
The essays do not require sources; however, if you do refer to a source, the source must have an MLA in-text cite and a citation on the Works Cited page. Please do not include a title page. Only place a heading on the top left-hand corner of the paper. Please use Times New Roman size 12 font. All submission must be original submissions. Please visit the syllabus for clarity on plagiarism. 
Further information on MLA style and citation can be found in this guide. Note: MLA will state double spacing in the heading - However, as stated previously - Avoid wasting space by single spacing the heading!

Remember that websites are not the same thing as sources you find on-line.  Students can obtain legitimate articles or books as sources from the internet, but this does not make them on-line sources.
